And the award for worst-dressed goes to... Not all the stars at the Oscars looked their best.

It's the biggest event of the year in Hollywood so it's only natural that stars would go to great lengths to look the part.
And although this year's Oscars saw some of the most beautiful gowns in the world grace the red carpet, others failed to make the grade.
Anne-Sophie Bion wore an unfortunate black creation that was more bin liner than elegant evening dress.

Kevan Hall dress looked more Quality Street than Rodeo Drive and Viola Davis, right, had too much going on in Vera Wang
But considering the French film editor was invited to the event for her work on The Artist - the winner of five awards last night - it's unlikely she was too concerned with her outfit.
She was joined on the red carpet by Virginia Madsen, better known in her 80's heydey.
And it seems the actress's dress-sense is also stuck in the same decade. Virginia wore a bright purple Kevin Hall dress that did nothing for her - but at 50,still looked age-defyingly good.
Sharon OsbourneBusy Philipps
You know it's bad when...Busy Phillips took a leaf out of Sharon Osbourne's book in D&G, pictured with daughter Kelly two years ago

The Help star Viola David divided critics with her Vera Wang gown.
Although the colour and silhouette suited her figure, the combination of asymmetric pleats, beads and revealing cleavage proved that more is rarely more.
A more simple version of the same dress would have been had a more flattering effect.
Sandra Bullock
Melissa LeoAnna Faris
Anna Faris' sequin Diane von Furstenberg dress did nothing for her while Sandra Bullock's Marchesa dress was too severe and Melissa Leo's Reem Accra gown was ill-fitting

Actress Busy Phillips will no doubt be mortified today when she learns her D&G dress was worn by Sharon Osbourne, two years ago.
The strapless dress was badly accessorized and did little to flatter her hourglass curves.
Other stars that failed to make the grade were Anna Faris in a Diane Von Furstenberg sequin gown and last year's Oscar winner Melissa Leo, who wore ill-fitting Reem Accra.
Missi PyleBerenice Bejo
Berenice Bejo's Ellie Saab dress bordered on frumpy, left, and Missy Pyle, right, who wore Valentina Delfino, was a washout in turquoise

Sandra Bullock's Marchesa monochrome was beautiful but too severe for the 47-year-old.
Despite the refreshing pop of colour, Berenice Bejo's Elie Saab dress was forgettable and bordering on frump
y. Missy Pyle's Valentina Delfino looked to be inspired by Mailbu Barbie.
The event's younger stars Shailene Woodley, 20, in Valentino and Sarah Hyland, 21, in Alberta Ferretti, looked pretty but dressed too-old for their age.

She got that Super Bass: Bootylicious Nicki Minaj draws attention to her curves in futuristic silver catsuit at NBA All Star game.

She was the star (off-court) attraction at last night's NBA All-Star game, and in typical style Nicki Minaj ensured all eyes were firmly on her.
Just a week after making headlines her walking the red carpet at the Grammys with a 'Pope' for a date and angering Catholics with her 'exorcism' performance, the singer/MC toned things down without losing any of her eye-catching and unique style.
The 29-year-old stormed the stage at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida wearing a skintight white leather catsuit and boots, embellished with futuristic silver skirting that emphasised her famous curves.

While Miss Minaj's fellow bootylicious stars like Beyoncé and J-Lo are usually seen wearing slimming ensembles that balance out their behinds, Nicki adorned her derriere with the sequinned material that drew the eye.

She wore a straight green wig followed by purple and pink curly wigs for her performances.
Nicki belted out a medley of her hits including Super Bass and Moment 4 Life with newer releases Starships and Roman Reloaded, a reworking of her single Roman's Revenge with Lil Wayne.

The dueting duo greeted each other courtside amorously with a kiss on the lips as other artists also performed during the halftime show.
Chris Brown, Pitbull and Ne-Yo took to the stage to cheering fans as part of Miss Minaj's performance, while earlier Mary J. Blige kicked off proceedings with the Star Spangled Banner.
Nicki's All Star game appearance was substantially toned down compared to her headline-grabbing antics at the Grammys.

Despite an onslaught of backlash against her on-stage 'exorcism', the artist has hit back at her critics and defended the performance.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said: 'I don’t know, what is the big issue? You know how people write plays and movies? That’s what I did.
'I wrote that and I gave the world a tiny little preview of what’s to come. And I have to perform it on the set in which the movie would be, right?'

Prosecutor who tried Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars now busted for crack possession.

What goes around comes around i guess, too bad.

A former top Las Vegas drug prosecutor who handled the high-profile Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars cocaine possession plea deals was sentenced Monday to nine months in county jail in a felony crack possession case.
Former Deputy District Attorney David Schubert apologized to the court for what he called ‘a tragedy,’ and then stood silently as a state court judge berated him as ‘a disgrace to his oath as a prosecutor and a lawyer.’
Clark County District Judge Carolyn Ellsworth also said that the terms of a plea deal that could have gotten Schubert probation and a chance to clear his record were ‘offensive.’

‘I'm not going to give you the special treatment,’ the judge said.
Police arrested Schubert in March 2011 after they watched another man get out of Schubert's car, go into an apartment complex and return.
Officers found Schubert with a $40 rock of crack cocaine and confiscated an unregistered 9 mm handgun from his car.

Schubert once handled Clark County's highest-profile drug prosecutions as the district attorney office's liaison to a federal drug task force.
Hilton, 30, was arrested after police said 0.8 grams of cocaine fell out of her handbag following a Las Vegas Strip traffic stop in August 2010.
The celebrity socialite received a year of probation on misdemeanour cocaine possession and obstruction charges. She successfully completed probation last fall.

Mars, 26, was cleared in January of a felony cocaine possession charge after staying out of trouble for a year and meeting other conditions of a plea deal.
The Grammy-winning pop star, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, acknowledged in court in February 2011 that he had 2.6 grams of cocaine after a performance at a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino nightclub.
Schubert resigned from the prosecutor's office after his arrest and underwent two months of inpatient substance abuse counselling.

The 48-year-old has been undergoing outpatient alcohol and drug counselling since May, and has been practicing criminal defence law in some of the same courtrooms where he was a prosecutor for 10 years.
Schubert pleaded guilty to a felony charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance not for sale. The conviction could threaten his law career, depending on a review by the State Bar of Nevada and action by the state Supreme Court, bar official Phil Pattee said.
The judge ordered Schubert to surrender March 12 to begin his jail sentence.
Defence attorney William Terry said he may appeal the sentence or ask the judge to take the rare step of setting it aside.
